Square Deal Game

Square Deal is one of those Game Boy puzzlers that looks simple at first—just stack falling squares to make full lines—but before long, you're hunched over your screen, muttering at blocks that refuse to cooperate. The controls are tight (thankfully), and the chunky pixel art gives it that classic handheld charm.
What I like is how it starts slow, letting you get comfortable, then suddenly dumps weird L-shaped pieces or diagonals that mess up your rhythm. My first few tries ended in a cluttered mess, but once you get the hang of spotting gaps early, clearing lines feels stupidly satisfying. It’s the kind of game you play thinking "just one more round" until your batteries run out.
If you’ve got a soft spot for no-frills, pure puzzle gameplay, this one’s a solid time-killer. Just don’t blame me when you miss your bus stop.
