Spy vs Spy: The Island Caper is basically the NES version of those old Mad Magazine comics where the two spies try to out-sneak each other, but now with palm trees and coconuts. You and a buddy (or the AI, if you're flying solo) race around this tropical hideout, grabbing briefcases and passports while setting up traps—think banana peels, dynamite, the usual spy nonsense. First one to snag all the loot and bolt wins.
It’s chaotic in the best way—half the time you’re just laughing as the other player walks face-first into your carefully placed bucket of glue. The controls are simple, but figuring out where items spawn or which doors lead to dead ends takes a few rounds. Definitely one of those "just one more game" kind of multiplayer experiences.
