You control one of the two spies, either black or white, running through a multi-room embassy. Your goal is to find the briefcase and escape before your rival does, or before the timer runs out. The core of the game is setting traps; you collect items like springs and bombs, placing them in drawers and doors to catch the other spy off guard. You explore the building screen by screen, trying to remember where you left hazards while also avoiding the ones your opponent set for you. The pace is frantic, especially in two-player mode, and the difficulty comes from predicting your rival's moves. It feels like a chaotic game of cat and mouse where you are both the hunter and the hunted.
