Man, this one's a weird little relic from the NES days. You swing through basic side-scrolling levels as Spidey, punching and web-shooting your way through the Sinister Six—though honestly, half the time it feels like you're just fighting random thugs in alleyways. The controls are kinda stiff, and the web mechanics are more frustrating than fun, but there's something charming about how janky it is.

You'll recognize some classic villains (Electro's here, looking like a guy in a yellow morphsuit), but don't expect much story beyond "bad guys are back, go punch them." The music's actually not bad for an LJN game, though. Just don't go in expecting anything close to modern Spider-Man games—this is pure 8-bit clunkiness.
