You control Spanky, a monkey in a striped shirt, navigating single screen levels. Your goal is to find a key to unlock the exit door on each stage. To fight the walking fruits and vegetables, you pop colored bubbles that float around the screen; catching a bubble gives you a specific sports ball to throw, like a baseball or basketball. The game requires careful timing to pop the right bubble and then aim your throw at the enemies, who often move in tricky patterns. The pacing is methodical, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly on later levels. It feels like a strange, tactical puzzle where you are constantly managing the bubbles and your positioning.
