Soldam on the Game Boy is one of those puzzle games that looks simple at first—just flip falling blocks to match colors—but gets surprisingly intense once the speed picks up. The controls are smooth, and the chunky pixel art has that classic charm, though I’ll admit the music loops get stuck in your head after a while.
What I like is how it forces you to think ahead—you can’t just react. Mess up a flip, and suddenly you’re scrambling to fix a tower of mismatched blocks. It’s the kind of game where you’ll mutter “one more try” at 2 AM, even when your thumbs are sore. If you dig Tetris but want something with a twist, this is a solid pick.
