Soccer Boy (japan) Game

Okay, so Soccer Boy is this weird little Game Boy soccer game from Japan—it’s not exactly FIFA, but it’s got this janky charm. You pick from a handful of teams (none of which I recognized, but hey, it’s Japan in the '90s), and the controls are… well, let’s just say passing is more of a suggestion than a rule.
The sprites are tiny, the ball physics are hilarious, and sometimes your player just boots it into the stands for no reason. But once you get used to the chaos, it’s weirdly fun in a "how is this even working?" kind of way. Also, the crowd noise is just a single looped cheer, which never stops being funny.
Definitely more of a curiosity than a must-play, but if you’re into obscure retro sports games, give it a shot.
