Simpsons, The - Bartman Meets Radioactive Man Game
📅 1992 ✍️ Imagineering Inc.

Okay, so this is one of those weird NES games where they took a one-off joke from The Simpsons—Bart’s goofy "Bartman" fantasy—and turned it into a full-blown superhero adventure. You’re basically running around as Bart in a homemade cape, jumping between rooftops and throwing boomerangs at weirdos like the evil Brain-O. The whole thing feels like a fever dream, especially when you end up in the Limbo Zone trying to rescue Radioactive Man (who, let’s be honest, looks nothing like the comic book version).
The controls are janky, the graphics are peak late-80s awkward, and some of the platforming will make you want to chuck your controller. But there’s something oddly charming about how seriously it takes Bart’s dumb little fantasy. If you’re into obscure licensed games or just love The Simpsons at their weirdest, it’s a trip worth taking. Just don’t expect it to play like a hidden gem.
