Shounen Ashibe - Yuuenchi Panic is one of those weird little Game Boy games you stumble across and think, "Wait, what is this?" It's based on a Japanese manga about a kid and his pet spotted seal (yeah, really), and the whole thing plays out like a chaotic theme park adventure.

You’re basically running around an amusement park trying to… well, I’m still not entirely sure. There’s some platforming, weird minigames, and a lot of seal-related nonsense. The controls are janky in that classic early Game Boy way, but there’s something oddly charming about how random it all is. If you’re into obscure Japanese licensed games, this one’s a trip.

Definitely not for everyone, but if you’ve ever wanted to play as a kid dragging a seal through bumper cars, here’s your chance.
