Shadow Man on N64 is one of those weird, moody gems that sticks with you. You play as Mike LeRoi, a dude who can hop between the living world and the deadlands—which sounds cool until you realize the deadlands are full of screaming faces in the walls and rivers of blood. The voodoo stuff gives it a creepy vibe most N64 games never touched.
Combat’s clunky by today’s standards (hello, tank controls), but there’s something satisfying about blasting demons with a shotgun while your shadow magic recharges. First time I played, I got lost for an hour in the twisting catacombs—no hand-holding here. If you dig atmospheric horror with janky charm, this one’s worth digging up.
