Selection - Erabareshi Mono (japan) Game

Ever stumble across one of those weird, obscure Game Boy games that makes you go, "Wait, what is this?" That's Selection - Erabareshi Mono for you. It's a Japanese-only title where you pick between different characters—samurai, ninjas, monks—and then just... fight stuff. No fancy story, no tutorials, just straight into the action.
The sprites are tiny but surprisingly detailed, and the controls are simple enough that you'll figure them out after a couple of clumsy swings. I went with the samurai first because, well, big sword. Turns out the monk's faster, though, and way better at dodging. Classic case of "looks cool but gets wrecked immediately."
It's not deep, but there's something oddly satisfying about the clunky combat. Feels like one of those arcade games you'd dump quarters into as a kid. If you're into retro oddities, this one's a neat little time-waster.
