Seaside Volley (japan) Game

Seaside Volley is one of those weird little Game Boy sports games that somehow sticks with you. It's beach volleyball, but with that classic early '90s jank—characters move like they're wading through syrup, and the ball physics are... questionable. But there's something charming about it.
You pick from a handful of teams (I always went with the blue shorts guy—no idea why, just felt right), and matches play out on these tiny pixelated beaches. The controls are simple—just bump, set, spike—but timing is everything. Miss your jump, and you'll watch the ball plop into the sand while your blocky athlete stares in shame.
It's not deep, but it's got that old-school arcade vibe where you can zone out for a quick match or two. The music’s cheery in that tinny Game Boy way, too. Definitely more fun with a friend, though good luck finding someone who remembers this obscure gem.
