Rockman World 2 (or Mega Man II for Game Boy, depending on where you played it) is one of those sequels that kinda stumbles out of the gate. It's got the same basic setup as the NES games—pick a Robot Master, steal their weapon, rinse and repeat—but something feels off. The controls are a little stiff, the level design can be downright mean, and the whole thing just feels rushed compared to the console versions.
That said, if you're a die-hard Mega Man fan, there's still some fun to be had here. The bosses are a weird mix of Mega Man II and III enemies, and the music has that classic Game Boy chiptune charm. Just don't expect it to hold up against the NES classics. It's more of a "play it once for curiosity's sake" kind of game.
