Rocket - Robot on Wheels is one of those N64 gems that flew under the radar but absolutely deserves more love. You play as Rocket, a little maintenance bot trying to save an amusement park from chaos after the main AI goes rogue. The physics feel way ahead of their time—you’ll grab objects with your tractor beam, fling them around, and solve puzzles that actually make you think instead of just jumping on stuff.
The park’s divided into themed zones (like a spooky Halloween area or a candy-filled wonderland), and each one’s packed with weird little contraptions to mess with. At first, I kept getting stuck on the weight-based puzzles, but once it clicks, you start seeing solutions everywhere. Also, the soundtrack? Unironically great—catchy synth beats that somehow fit a robot rolling through a half-broken theme park.
It’s not just nostalgia, either. The level design holds up, and there’s something satisfying about how weighty and tactile everything feels. If you missed this back in the day, it’s still a blast to play now.
