Okay, so RoboCop vs. The Terminator on NES is exactly what it sounds like—a weird, kinda janky crossover where you blast through levels as RoboCop (or sometimes a Terminator, depending on the version). The controls are stiff, the hit detection is questionable, and the graphics look like they were drawn by someone who only half-remembered the movies. But that’s part of the charm.
You start off in a ruined Detroit, punching cyborgs and dodging lasers that feel way faster than RoboCop should be able to handle. The soundtrack’s got this weirdly intense synth thing going on, and the enemies just keep coming. It’s not the best licensed game out there, but if you’re into ‘90s action cheese, it’s a fun time for about 20 minutes before the frustration kicks in.
Also, yes, you can shoot a lot of things. That’s pretty much the whole game.
