Your main goal is to stop the spread of a dangerous new drug called Nuke and ultimately confront the monstrous RoboCop 2. The game uses a screen by screen progression; you clear one area of enemies before moving to the next. You can pick up different weapon power ups, like a triple shot, to help you deal with the numerous foes. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty is quite punishing, with limited continues and enemies that attack from all directions. Navigating the levels and managing your ammunition while under constant fire makes for a tense and challenging experience.
