Okay, so this is one of those weird licensed Game Boy games that somehow got made after the Kevin Costner Robin Hood movie. You play as Robin, but he looks more like a generic medieval guy than anything resembling the film—which, honestly, might be for the best.
Most of the time, you're running around in this weird isometric view, collecting arrows and fighting guards in these awkward little skirmishes. Then suddenly, the perspective shifts to side-scrolling for duels, and the controls get even jankier. It's got that classic "we had six months to make this" energy.
Not gonna lie, the combat feels stiff, and the level design is confusing at times, but there's something oddly charming about how ambitious it tries to be for a Game Boy movie tie-in. If you're into retro oddities, this one's a trip.
