About Road Runner
Road Runner came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1989, published by Atari. It was one of many licensed games from that period, trying to capture the spirit of a popular cartoon on the NES.
You control Road Runner, constantly running from Wile E. Coyote. The main goal is to survive each stage by outrunning him while the screen scrolls automatically. You collect bird seeds scattered on the path, dodge oncoming cars and other obstacles, and occasionally navigate through maze-like sections. The game moves at a fast pace and can be quite difficult, demanding quick reactions to everything the level throws at you. It feels frantic and chaotic, like you are always just a step ahead of disaster.
