Road Runner on NES is one of those weirdly addictive platformers where you’re just booking it nonstop to the left while Wile E. Coyote breathes down your neck. The controls are dead simple—hold right to run, tap A to jump—but the chaos ramps up fast. One second you’re dodging trucks, the next you’re weaving through a maze with that lunatic coyote inches behind you.
Grabbing bird seeds gives you points (because apparently Road Runner’s into that), but the real thrill is barely escaping traps by a feather. The scrolling gets brutal after a while—you’ll miss the days when it was just a cactus or two. It’s pure cartoon panic in 8-bit form.
