Road Rash 64 is that rare racing game where coming in first isn’t even the best part—it’s the absolute chaos along the way. You’re weaving through traffic at ridiculous speeds, sure, but you’re also punching rival riders off their bikes, dodging cops, and occasionally faceplanting into a parked car. The physics are janky in that perfect N64 way, so wipeouts feel brutal (and hilarious).
Multiplayer is where it really shines—nothing like shoving your friend into oncoming traffic while they scream at you. The weapons are ridiculous (a crowbar? really?), and the soundtrack’s got that late ‘90s grunge vibe that somehow makes everything more intense. It’s messy, unbalanced, and absolutely worth playing if you like your racing games with a side of mayhem.
Just don’t expect to stay friends after a few rounds.
