Ring Rage (japan) Game

Ring Rage is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that never made it outside Japan—a wrestling game where the fighters look like chunky pixelated action figures. You pick from a roster of exaggerated characters (my favorite’s this guy with a tiger mask, obviously) and just start throwing suplexes and dropkicks in a tiny ring. The controls are simple—two buttons and the D-pad—but there’s something satisfying about how the sprites flop around after a big move.
It’s not deep, but it’s got that early ‘90s charm where everything feels slightly janky in the best way. The crowd sprites even do a little cheer animation when you land a finisher. If you’re into retro wrestling games, this one’s a fun quick match kind of thing.
