Reservoir Rat (europe) (en,fr,de,es,it) Game

Reservoir Rat is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that never got much attention but has this weirdly satisfying puzzle-action vibe. You play as, well, a rat in a reservoir—navigating maze-like pipes, dodging hazards, and grabbing cheese (obviously). The controls take a second to get used to since your rat moves in this slippery, momentum-based way, but once it clicks, you start pulling off these tight maneuvers between spinning gears and water traps.
What’s cool is how the levels escalate—early ones feel almost cozy, just figuring out pipe layouts, but later stages throw in switches, timed doors, and enemies that’ll chase you if you linger too long. The music’s got that classic GB chiptune bounciness too, all squeaky synths that somehow fit a rat’s adventure perfectly.
It’s not the deepest game out there, but there’s something oddly charming about scrambling through industrial guts as a tiny rodent. If you’re into retro puzzlers with a side of chaos, this one’s worth dusting off.
