Rentaiou (japan) Game

Rentaiou is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that never left Japan. It's a puzzle-action hybrid where you control two characters at once—sounds simple, but things get chaotic fast when you're trying to move them in sync. The block-pushing mechanics feel like a twisted take on Sokoban, except you're constantly wrestling with the dual controls.
First few minutes? Total confusion. Your brain keeps wanting to move them independently, but nope—they mirror each other unless you hit the switch button. Once it clicks though, there's something satisfying about lining up their movements to trap enemies or solve stages. The chiptune soundtrack has that classic Game Boy charm too, all bleeps and bloops that somehow never get old.
Definitely not for everyone, but if you like puzzle games that make you rethink basic movement, this one's a neat deep cut. Just don't blame me when you start seeing mirrored movements in your sleep.
