Remote Control Game

Remote Control on NES is basically the old MTV game show crammed into a cartridge. You and a couple friends (or the CPU if you're flying solo) buzz in to answer trivia about random pop culture stuff—soap operas, SNL, cop shows, all that junk. The board's set up like a giant TV with nine channels, and picking one throws a question at you. Some channels even pull sneaky moves like stealing points or handing out bonuses.
First two rounds are straightforward—just rack up points by nailing answers. Then they boot the lowest scorer and dump the last two players into this frantic 30-second finale where you're shouting answers as fast as humanly possible. It's chaotic, especially when you realize half the references are ancient even by '80s standards. Still weirdly fun with the right group, though.
