Red Arremar 2 (japan) Game

Red Arremar 2 is one of those classic NES shooters that flew under the radar outside Japan—probably because it never got an official Western release. It's got that same tight, arcade-style action as the first game, but with a few tweaks to the weapons and enemy patterns that keep you on your toes.
You start off with a basic pea shooter, but power-ups drop often enough that you're never stuck with it for long. The spread shot is my go-to—it shreds through waves of enemies, though the homing missiles have their moments too. The levels scroll fast, and some of the mid-bosses take a surprising amount of hits before they go down.
It's not as flashy as some of the big-name shooters from the era, but it's solid. The music has that classic NES chiptune energy, and the difficulty ramps up just right. If you're into retro shoot 'em ups, this one's worth a few runs.
