Rat Attack is one of those weird little N64 gems that somehow makes exterminating rats weirdly fun. You’ve got these little furry menaces scurrying around kitchens, sewers, and other gross places, and your job is to trap them before they overrun the level. The trick is figuring out which traps work best—some are instant, others take timing, and a few are just gloriously overkill (the vacuum trap never gets old).
The levels start simple, but before long you’re juggling multiple rat spawn points, dodging obstacles, and praying your cheese bait holds out. It’s got that classic early 3D charm—bright colors, janky animations, and a soundtrack that’s equal parts funky and frantic. Not gonna lie, the later stages had me sweating a little.
If you like puzzle games where chaos slowly creeps up on you, this one’s a blast. Just don’t blame me when you start seeing rats in your peripheral vision.
