Ranma Nibun No Ichi on Game Boy is exactly as chaotic as the anime—you start off with Ranma flipping between guy and girl forms mid-fight, and it somehow makes less sense when you’re the one button-mashing through it. The sprites are tiny but weirdly expressive, especially when someone gets knocked into a pond and suddenly you’re fighting a panda or a duck.
It’s part brawler, part "what even is happening," with moves that feel stiff at first until you realize half the fun is watching the absurd special attacks. The music’s got that classic Game Boy chiptune charm, though good luck hearing it over the sound effects of people getting tossed into walls. If you grew up with the anime, it’s a nostalgia trip; if not, it’s still a weird little time capsule of ’90s anime madness. Just don’t expect deep combat—this one’s all about the vibes.
