Rampage 2 is pure dumb fun—you pick a giant mutant (I always go for the werewolf) and just start wrecking cities. Buildings crumble like they’re made of cardboard, tanks explode if you flick ‘em, and the whole thing has this goofy B-movie charm. The best part? You can grab a friend and tear through levels together, smashing everything in sight while trying not to accidentally punch each other offscreen.
It’s not deep, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about stomping through Tokyo or Vegas as a kaiju on a budget. The controls are a little janky by today’s standards, but that almost adds to the chaos. Just don’t expect a masterpiece—it’s a late-night pizza-and-soda kind of game.
