Okay, so Rambo on NES is... not what you'd expect. The box art shows him unloading a machine gun, but surprise—half the enemies are snakes and spiders. Like, a lot of snakes. You mostly stab things with a knife, which feels weird when you're used to the movies where he’s basically a one-man army.
It’s not bad, just bizarre. You’ll dodge scorpions in caves, chuck knives at birds, and occasionally fight a soldier who wandered in from a different game. The controls are stiff, but once you get used to the jank, there’s a weird charm to it. Just don’t go in expecting explosions.
