Rakuga Kids is this weird little N64 fighter where all the characters look like they jumped straight out of a kid's crayon doodles. You've got a samurai made of scribbles, a robot with marker-line joints, and my personal favorite—a walking ice cream cone that somehow fights with its own sprinkles.
The controls are simple enough that you can button mash your way through matches, but there's some sneaky depth if you dig into the special moves. The whole thing feels like playing inside a kindergarten art project, right down to the way hits leave these satisfying splatter effects on the "paper" background.
It's not exactly tournament-grade fighting, but there's charm in how unapologetically silly it is. Perfect for when you want to throw down without taking things seriously.
