Radar Mission on Game Boy is this weird little submarine game that somehow makes staring at a sonar screen tense as hell. You're basically playing Battleship but with actual movement—creeping through grid-like waters, trying to guess where enemy ships are hiding before they blast you first. The sonar pings give me mild submarine-movie anxiety, and I swear the AI cheats sometimes.
There's a second mode where you control a fighter plane shooting down bombers, which feels totally different—faster, more arcade-y. Neither mode overstays its welcome, and the whole thing has that early Game Boy charm where simple mechanics somehow stick in your brain. Just don't expect fancy graphics; it's all grids and blips, but in a way that works.
Still holds up if you're into methodical, slightly stressful strategy games.
