Race Days is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that gives you two totally different racing styles in one cart. First up, there's this janky-but-charming first-person jeep race where you're bouncing over hills and trying not to wipe out—the pixelated 3D effect actually works better than you'd expect for an OG Game Boy title.

Then it flips to a top-down mode that feels like a stripped-down Micro Machines, weaving between traffic and oil slicks. The controls take a minute to get used to (that D-pad drift is real), but once it clicks, you'll be squeezing past opponents with inches to spare. Not bad for a game that probably cost less than a Happy Meal back in the day.
