About R.c Pro-am 2
R.C Pro-Am 2 came out in 1992 for the Nintendo Entertainment System, developed by Rare. It arrived late in the NES lifecycle, a time when many developers were already moving to 16-bit consoles, but it showed what could still be done with the hardware.
You control a miniature radio-controlled car from an overhead view, racing against three computer opponents on tight, winding tracks. The main goal is to win each race to earn cash for upgrades like better tires, engines, and body frames. Signature mechanics include collecting power-ups, such as missiles and oil slicks, to hinder your rivals, and navigating tracks filled with hazards like puddles and pop-up barriers that can spin you out. The game is fast and demanding, requiring precise steering to avoid crashing into walls. It feels like a tense, strategic battle as much as a pure speed contest.
