Puzznic on the Game Boy is one of those simple-but-addictive block-pushing puzzles that feels way deeper once you get into it. You're sliding colored blocks around a grid, trying to match them up—sounds basic, but the later stages get seriously tricky. The Japanese version has this weird charm with its tiny sprites and those chunky Game Boy sound effects.
First few levels ease you in, then suddenly you're staring at the screen for way too long trying to figure out if pushing left or up will screw you over. It's got that "one more try" pull, especially when you realize you messed up a move three steps back. The controls are tight, which matters when precision counts.
Definitely a hidden gem if you're into retro puzzle games that don't hold your hand.
