About Puzzle (unl)
Puzzle is an unlicensed Nintendo Entertainment System cartridge that never saw an official release. I don't know who made it, but it appeared during the NES era when a lot of unofficial games were sold in plastic bags at flea markets. It fits right in with the other simple, often strange titles from that time.
You control a cursor to manipulate colored blocks on a single screen. The main goal is to clear the screen by matching blocks of the same color, typically in rows or columns. The core mechanics involve swapping adjacent blocks to form matches; when you make a match, those blocks vanish and new ones fall from the top of the playfield. The game starts slow but the blocks descend faster as you progress, creating a real pressure to plan your moves quickly. It feels like a direct, no-frills test of your ability to spot patterns under a ticking clock.
