Puzzle Boy II (or Amazing Tater, if you're playing the US version) is one of those weirdly charming Game Boy puzzlers where you play as a sentient potato pushing blocks around. Yeah, a potato. Atlus had some fun with this one.
It's the sequel to Kwirk, but honestly, it feels more polished—the puzzles start simple, then suddenly you're sweating over some ridiculous block configuration while your little spud guy just stares at you, waiting. And if you mess up bad enough? He straight-up explodes. No second chances, just potato chunks. Harsh.
It's got that classic '90s puzzle vibe—easy to pick up, brutal to master. If you like your brain-teasers with a side of existential vegetable dread, this one's a hidden gem.
