Puzzle Boy II is one of those Game Boy titles that somehow makes pushing blocks around feel weirdly intense. At first glance, it's simple—just slide crates onto targets—but after a few levels, you realize how sneaky the puzzles get. The pixel art has that chunky, satisfying Game Boy look, and the music sticks in your head in the best way.
I remember getting stuck on level 12 for way too long before realizing I'd been overcomplicating it. That's the thing about this game: the solutions are usually cleaner than you think, but good luck convincing your brain of that in the moment. It's got that "one more try" pull without feeling unfair.
If you've got a soft spot for retro puzzlers, this one holds up surprisingly well. Just don't blame me when you lose track of time.
