Puzzle Boy feels like someone dug up a lost Game Boy cartridge from 1993—in the best way possible. You’re pushing blocks, dodging traps, and trying not to get stuck in corners while that crunchy little soundtrack plays. The first few levels trick you into thinking it’s easy, then suddenly you’re staring at the screen for five minutes trying to figure out how to reach the exit without trapping yourself.
The pixel art’s got that perfect chunky-Game-Boy look, and the music? Pure nostalgia. But don’t let the cute graphics fool you—some of these puzzles will make your brain hurt (in a good way). I kept coming back just to beat that one level that stumped me the night before.
If you’ve got a soft spot for old-school puzzle games, this one’s a no-brainer.
