About Probotector 2
Probotector 2 came out for the Game Boy in 1992, a Konami release that fit right into the handheld's library of action titles. It was a time when portable games often offered condensed versions of console experiences, and this one delivered its own brand of side scrolling combat.
You control a lone robot soldier fighting through waves of enemy machines. Your goal is to survive each stage, clearing the screen of hostiles while navigating platforms and avoiding hazards. The gameplay hinges on a few key mechanics: you can switch between a standard shot and a more powerful, limited use special weapon, and you collect power ups to enhance your firepower.
