Pro Soccer (japan) Game

Pro Soccer on the Game Boy is one of those early sports games that somehow nails the simplicity of soccer while still feeling satisfying. The controls are basic—pass, shoot, tackle—but matches get surprisingly intense, especially when you're down a goal in the last few minutes. The pixelated players are tiny, but you can still pull off some slick dribbles if you time it right.
It’s Japan-only, so the menus are in Japanese, but honestly, you don’t need to read much to figure it out. Just pick a team, pick a side, and go. The AI isn’t exactly FIFA-level smart, but it’s not a pushover either—expect some scrappy midfield battles.
If you’re into retro sports games, this one’s a solid time capsule from the Game Boy era.
