Pri Pri : Primitive Princess Game

Okay, so Pri Pri: Primitive Princess is one of those Game Boy games that somehow makes you forget it’s running on a tiny green screen. You play as this scrappy little princess—no fancy ballgowns here, just a girl with a spear and a serious attitude. The first thing that hits you is how weirdly satisfying the movement feels—jumping between platforms has this chunky, deliberate weight to it, like old-school Mario but with more vine-swinging.
The puzzles start simple (push a rock, climb a ladder), but by the second area, you’re already timing jumps around spiked traps or figuring out how to bait enemies into smashing walls for you. And the music? Pure 8-bit earworm material—that dungeon theme still pops into my head randomly.
It’s got that classic "one more try" vibe, where you’ll totally swear you can make that jump next time. If you’re into retro platformers with a bit of bite, this one’s a blast.
