About Power Racer
Power Racer was a Game Boy release from 1990, developed by Atelier Double and published by Asmik. It arrived during a period when the handheld was filling with simple, pick-up-and-play titles, and this one fit right into that library. You don't hear much about it now, but it was another option for racing on the go.
You control a small car from a top-down perspective, navigating through maze-like tracks against the clock. The main goal is to complete each course before time runs out, avoiding obstacles and other vehicles. Signature mechanics include collecting fuel cans to replenish your timer and using a turbo boost for short bursts of speed.
