Pokémon Snap is one of those weird, chill N64 gems where you’re not battling monsters—you’re just vibing in a little cart, snapping photos of them doing their thing. The first time a Pikachu casually hops onto a surfboard, you’ll panic trying to frame the shot before it’s gone. Some Pokémon hide in bushes or only come out if you toss apples at them (weird, but it works). The graphics are blocky by today’s standards, but there’s something oddly satisfying about nailing the perfect shot of a Charizard mid-flight.
It’s way more relaxing than the mainline games, but don’t let that fool you—getting high scores means paying attention to angles, poses, and whether that Squirtle squad is photobombing your shot. Professor Oak judges your pics like a grumpy art critic, which is hilarious. If you ever wanted to feel like a wildlife photographer in the Pokémon world, this is it.
