Pokémon Snap on the N64 is basically a chill safari ride where you’re just snapping pics of Pokémon doing their thing—no battles, no stress. You hop into this little cart that rolls through jungles, beaches, and caves while Pikachu, Charizard, and the gang pop up in the wild. The trick is timing your shots right—like catching a Squirtle mid-yawn or a Magikarp flopping dramatically out of a waterfall.
It sounds simple, but some Pokémon only show up if you toss apples at bushes or play the flute at the right moment. The graphics are blocky by today’s standards, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about lining up the perfect shot and seeing Professor Oak grade your photos (he’s brutal with the ratings, by the way). If you ever wanted to be a Pokémon wildlife photographer instead of a trainer, this is your game.
