About Pocket Love 2
Pocket Love 2 came out for the original Game Boy, though I don't recall who made it. It was one of those late life cycle releases, a small adventure that felt right at home on the handheld. You don't see many games like it on the system, which makes it a curious find.
You control a young character exploring a large, connected world screen by screen. Your main goal is to find and reassemble a magical locket, its pieces scattered across the land. The gameplay involves light platforming, pushing blocks to solve environmental puzzles, and talking to the few villagers you meet for hints. It moves at a relaxed pace; the challenge comes more from figuring out where to go next than from difficult reflexes. Playing it feels like quietly uncovering a small, personal story.
