Okay, so Pocahontas On GB is one of those licensed Disney games that actually doesn’t suck. You’re basically running, jumping, and occasionally paddling a canoe through levels that loosely follow the movie—forests, rivers, that kind of thing. The sprites are surprisingly decent for a Game Boy title, and yeah, you’ll recognize a few key scenes if you’ve seen the film.
It’s not super deep—standard platforming with some light puzzle bits—but the music’s catchy in that nostalgic, tinny Game Boy way. The raccoon sidekick is annoying at first, but you get used to him. Honestly, it’s a solid pick if you’re into late ‘90s Disney vibes or just want something breezy to play in short bursts. The canoe sections are janky, though. You’ve been warned.
