So, this is one of those old-school Game Boy Disney movie tie-ins—you play as Pinocchio (and sometimes Jiminy Cricket) through a side-scrolling adventure that loosely follows the film. It’s got that classic early '90s platformer feel—jumping over gaps, dodging enemies, and collecting coins (because of course there are coins).
What’s kinda neat is how it tries to work in the whole "be good or your nose grows" thing—some choices actually affect gameplay, like whether you lie or tell the truth. Not gonna lie, though, the controls are a little stiff, and some jumps feel way more punishing than they should. But if you’re into retro Disney stuff, it’s got that weird charm where you can practically hear the cartridge hiss when you boot it up.
Honestly, it’s more fun as a nostalgia trip than a tight platformer, but hey, at least Jiminy Cricket’s there to nag you the whole time.
