Pinball Fantasies is the follow-up to Pinball Dreams, and honestly, it’s a solid little pinball sim for the Game Boy. You get four tables, each with its own vibe—there’s a neon-drenched nightclub one, a wild west saloon, even a kinda trippy space theme. The physics feel surprisingly decent for a handheld, and the tables actually have some neat little tricks hidden in them. Took me a while to figure out how to trigger the multiball on the western table, but when I did? Pure satisfaction.
It’s not as flashy as the arcade stuff, but for a quick pinball fix on the go, it does the job. The music’s got that classic Game Boy chiptune charm too.
