Pin Ball on the NES is one of those classic arcade ports that somehow feels both simple and weirdly satisfying. You’ve got the usual flippers, bumpers, and that little digital ball bouncing around like it’s got a mind of its own. The physics are a bit floaty compared to modern pinball games, but there’s something charming about it—like the way the ball sometimes gets stuck near the top and just… lingers.
What’s cool is the two-player mode, where you take turns trying to outscore each other. It’s basic, but back in ’85, that was enough to make it one of the NES launch titles. And if you’ve played Animal Crossing on GameCube, you might’ve stumbled on this as a hidden mini-game, which was a fun little throwback.
It’s not flashy, but if you’re into retro stuff, it’s a neat slice of Nintendo’s early arcade days.
