Pikachu Genki Dechu is one of those weird little N64 gems that makes you go, "Wait, the console had a microphone?" Yeah, it plugs right into the controller, and suddenly you're yelling "PI-KA-CHU!" at your TV like a maniac while this chunky 3D Pikachu waddles around reacting to your voice. It's half Tamagotchi, half tech demo—you feed it, play mini-games, and try not to scare your dog when you shout commands.
Honestly, the voice recognition is janky (it only understands Japanese, so good luck if you're winging it), but there's something weirdly endearing about watching Pikachu get grumpy if you ignore it too long. Mostly a novelty, but Pokémon fans will get a kick out of the absurdity. Just don’t expect anything deeper than yelling at a virtual rodent for 20 minutes before moving on.
