About Penguin Kun Wars (japan)
Penguin Kun Wars came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1985, developed and published by ASCII Corporation. It was part of that early wave of NES games where developers were experimenting with simple, competitive concepts, often for two players.
You control a penguin on a grid based battlefield, pushing a line of ice balls toward your opponent's goal. The main objective is to get all of your balls into their goal at the same time, which requires careful positioning and timing. Your penguin can only push the entire row of balls forward, and if an opponent's ball is in the way, it gets pushed back toward you. This creates a back and forth struggle for control of the playing field. The game moves quickly, and a single mistake can suddenly flood your own goal. It feels like a fast paced, tactical shoving match on ice.
